ROHAM FAYAZI – Neue Bilder
Born in 1979 in Teheran (Iran), I began to study painting at the age of 12 with Puya Aryan Poor and Mostafa Dashti. In 1998, a year after my university entrance diploma, I intensified my formation with well- known- painters as Bahar Behbahani (1998-99), Ahmad Vakili (1999-2003, very profoundly) and Ahmad Aminnazar (2005). From the last one I learnt art printing technique.
In 2003 I won a grant for the Academy of Fine Arts in Erevan, Armenia, where I lived until 2005. Again as a grant- aided-student, in 2005 I went to attend the "Accademia delle Belle Arti" of Rome, until 2006, when I decided to move my sphere of activity to Berlin, where I now live and work.

As a painter I had numerous opportunities to show my works, as for example with 12 pictures in an group- exibition "A view of nature" in Teheran at the "Behzad- Gallery" 2003 (also included in the official catalogue of this exibition), also in 2003 I showed my printings in a personal exposition at the "Banafeshe- Gallery" in Teheran, again with success. In Rome my pictures were seen in a group- exibition at the "Galeria Vertecchi" in spring 2006. In october 2006 I had a personal exibition in "Galeria Margutta" with the title "La donna", "The woman". A number of private ordered works followed (Toscana and Berlin).
